25 Year Old Caregiver From Fergus Charged With Fraud – Jessica Ashley KELLY

(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) – On January 29, 2018, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into a fraud investigation in regard to a victim’s credit card being used fraudulently over a period of time.

Investigation revealed that the accused had assisted the victim as a personal caregiver since June, 2017. During this time the accused accessed the victim’s credit card information. The accused then made numerous purchases using the victim’s credit card.

25-year-old Jessica Ashley KELLY of Fergus has been charged with Fraud over $5000, Use of Credit Card and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 6, 2018 to answer to the charges.
