25 Year Old Arrested After Trying To Cash Stolen Lottery Tickets – Name Released

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On February 19, 2018, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) was advised of thefts from two motor vehicles which had occurred overnight on Wesley Crescent, Town of Erin.

The complainant reported that an unknown suspect had broken into two vehicles and stole three Hilti brand drills, a wallet containing credit cards as well as a quantity of lottery tickets.

On February 20, 2018 OPP officers were advised that a male suspect was attempting to cash in the lottery tickets at a store in the Town of Erin. An officer attended and the suspect was arrested for possession of stolen property.

25-year-old Richard Anthony HULAN of Erin has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property Obtained by Crime under $5000. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 20, 2018.
