(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On March 25, 2016 at approximately 8:12 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to assist with an intoxicated female on Victoria Street in the Township of Southgate after she had fallen on the roadway resulting in minor injuries.
Police attended and arrested the highly intoxicated woman for her personal safety. She was transported to hospital as a precaution and upon release from hospital she was taken to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment where she remained until she was sober.
Jasmine BOOKMAN, age 23, of the Township of Southgate was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a public place under the Liquor Licence Act (LLA).
