(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) – On November 24, 2017 approximately 12:50 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on County 51, Township of Guelph-Eramosa.
Officers arrived and found the driver had driven off the roadway into a culvert. While speaking to the driver officers believed her to be impaired by alcohol.
23-year-old Angelia HERSHEY of Arthur has been charged with Driving with Over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood and Impaired Driving, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. She is scheduled to attend Guelph Court on December 19, 2017.
