On February 23, 2017 at 2 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police received a report of an assault in a parking lot near University Avenue and King Street North in Waterloo. A 22-year-old Waterloo man was stabbed once, receiving a non-life threatening injury. He was treated at a local hospital and released.
