(NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Saturday December 31, 2016, shortly before 1:00 a.m. a member of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a Black Dodge pick-up truck on Main Street in the Municipality of North Perth.
Upon speaking to the driver, the officer smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath and saw signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest for operating motor vehicle while impaired. He was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in North Perth for breath tests. He later provided samples of his breath into an Intoxilizer and registered over the legal limit.
As a result, 22-year-old Adam STULL from North Perth has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He was released from custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Perth on January 11, 2017. He also received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and the truck was seized for 7 days.
