(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On Thursday November 9, 2017 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving two motor vehicles on the Wellington Road 109, East of Arthur. Initial reports indicated that a Ford pickup and a Honda sedan had collided head on.
UPDATE; A 21-year-old female from Mount Forest was pronounced dead at local hospital. OPP are withholding names until the next of kin are notified.
The investigation is ongoing and Wellington Road 109 from Highway 6 to Wellington Road 16 will remain closed until further notice.
