21 Year Old From North Perth Facing Drunk Driving Charge – Name Released

(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – On February 26, 2017, at approximately 5:43 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle crash in which a motor vehicle struck a house on Oak Street.

A Dodge pickup truck travelling eastbound on Butler Street failed to stop at the intersection and crossed the roadway, where it struck a tree and the side of a residence.

It was determined that the 21-year-old male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests, which revealed he had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.

As a result of the police investigation, Blake DEKOK, from North Perth, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released on a promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on April 10, 2017.
