(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On January 20, 2017 at approximately 3:31 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 6 & 10 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs and found that the driver was operating the vehicle, a 2009 Kia, without valid insurance despite having been charged earlier in the week with the same offence.
The same driver, operating the same vehicle, was issued a Part III Summons for operating a vehicle without valid insurance under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA) on Grey Rd. 9 in the Township of Southgate, on January 16, 2017.
The vehicle was towed both times.
Curtis LAVOIE, age 21, of Brockton, is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on February 27, 2017 to speak to both offences.
