(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On August 6, 2016 at approximately 1:01 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a 1993 pick-up truck being driven erratically on the Southgate-Glenelg Townline in the Township of Southgate. The officer conducted a traffic stop and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Breath tests were conducted indicated he had a blood alcohol content of over 80 milligrams.
21-year old Lane AULTHOUSE of the Municipality of West Grey was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 milligrams.
He is scheduled to appear in court on September 1, 2016 in Owen Sound.
