(PERTH EAST, ON) – On Saturday March 11, 2017 Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of an aggressive driver on Perth Road 119 south of the Town of Milverton.
The driver of a silver Mitsubishi car had been tailgating a fully marked Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) pick up that had been southbound on Perth Road 119 and then passed it at a high rate of speed. The MNR vehicle was then forced to brake to allow the car back into the lane to avoid a collision from occurring with another vehicle that had been oncoming. The Mitsubishi car was located shortly after and 21 year-old Johan BERG-THIESSEN of North Perth was charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
