(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the theft of another stolen pickup truck from a rural property.
On Saturday October 03, 2015, officers were dispatched to a farm along Line 83, east of Listowel where a pickup truck had been stolen. Investigation revealed that sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Friday October 2nd and 6 a.m. on Saturday October 3rd, the pickup truck was driven away from behind the rural residence.
The vehicle is described as a; red (maroon), 2007 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab 4×4 pickup truck with Ontario licence plates 1158FL attached. It was loaded with bales of beanstalks when it was taken and it appears to have been driven in a westerly direction towards Listowel. The keys to the vehicle may have been removed from inside the residence.
The Perth County OPP continues to urge residents to lock and secure their vehicles. Anyone having information about the theft of this vehicle or its whereabouts is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
