On December 3rd, 2016, police responded to a break and enter in Blenheim. Police learned that sometime overnight, unknown suspects entered the complainant’s aviary and stole three exotic birds valued at $8,000.
On Saturday December 10th, two of the exotic birds were located, abandoned in their cages, on Indian Creek Road in Chatham. The birds were in good health and were returned to their owner. The third exotic bird remains outstanding.
