Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a fatal collision in the Town of Richmond Hill.
On Friday, December 30, 2016, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a three-vehicle collision occurred on Leslie Street, north of East Wilmot Street. A grey Toyota Camry driven by a 68-year-old woman from the City of Markham, a Chevrolet Impala driven by a 68-year-old man from the Town of Richmond Hill and a silver Ford Taurus had been driven by 19-year-old man from the City of Vaughan collided. All drivers were taken to hospital suffering from injuries, however sadly, the 19-year-old man succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police are being asked to please come forward.
