(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – A male driver from North Huron has been charged with Speeding & Possession of Marihuana following a traffic stop that took place last night (10Mar). At approximately 8:15 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer spotted a Pontiac Grand Prix speeding westbound on Amberley Road just east of Bluevale. The officer confirmed his visual observations with a RADAR device and locked the speed at 115 km/h. The driver was stopped and while speaking with the driver the officer observed open alcohol inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted which led to the officer finding the driver in possession of marihuana.
Ryan STULP, 19 years of age, from North Huron has been charged with Speeding and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marihuana). He has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for May 12, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham.
