On Wednesday, August 26, 2015, Police arrested a 19 year-old, Barrie Male for breach of probation. He had been observed by police downtown Barrie carrying a Samurai sword.
The male is currently bound by a twelve (12) month probation period for previous offences, and is not to possess any weapons.
The male was held for bail and will appearing in a Barrie court Thursday morning.
