On May 9th, 2016 at approximately 5:45 p.m., a collision occurred with a piece of farm machinery on Blackridge Drive, Cambridge and a bridge. The driver, a 19 year old Elmira male, was travelling between two farms and struck the bridge near Townline Road. City of Cambridge staff attended the scene and has temporarily closed Blackridge Drive until the structure can be inspected. As a result of the collision, he has been charged with Careless Driving.
