(ERIN TOWNSHIP, ON) On March 5, 2013 at about 3:28pm, the County of Wellington OPP were conducting mobile radar speed enforcement on County Road 22 in Erin Township. Police observed an eastbound 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier travelling above the speed limit. Police clocked the vehicle on radar at 135km/h in an 80km/h zone.
Christopher Skinner age 19 of Erin has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on May 1, 2013 to answer to the charge.
