(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On Saturday February 24, 2018 at approximately 5:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members observed a vehicle attempting to avoid police observation on Fergus Street, Mount Forest.
Police stopped the vehicle and investigation revealed the driver was in possession of a quantity of marihuana, marihuana laced cookies and psilocybin mushrooms.
19-year-old Shaine Allen Joseph LECOT of Windsor has been charged with Possession of Marihuana under 30 grams and Possession on Psilocybin Mushrooms contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA). He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 27, 2018.
