On Saturday March 19, 2016 at 4:15 AM a single motor vehicle collision took place on Robert Ferrie Drive at Reynolds Court in the City of Kitchener. The driver, a 23 year old Kitchener male lost control of his silver 2004 Nissan Sentra motor vehicle and struck a concrete hydro pole. A 21 year old male and a 19 year old male, also from Kitchener were also in the vehicle at the time. The 19 year old passenger died at the scene, the driver died in hospital and the 21 year old passenger was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. The cause of this fatal collision is still being determined . Emergency Services would like to thank the local residents for their initial assistance during this traumatizing incident. The Waterloo Regional Police Traffic Branch are investigating this matter and would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone with video cameras that face Robert Ferrie Drive.
