On November 1, 2016 at 1:00 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police were called to a report of a robbery in the area of the Chicopee Centreville Community Centre on Morgan Avenue in Kitchener. An 18-year-old Kitchener man was walking and approached from behind by a group of men. He was assaulted and pushed to the ground before having his wallet and cell phone taken. The suspects are described as having dark skin and being between the ages of 16 and 20. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-653-7700 ext. 4499.
