(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) – On October 13, 2017 at approximately 6:00 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on County Road 27 north of Sideroad 10, Township of Guelph-Eramosa. The officer observed a male driving a 2006 Ford F150 at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 132 km/h in a 80 km/h zone.
18-year-old Dylan WILSON of Guelph-Eramosa has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on December 6, 2017. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute. He has also been charged with Driving While Under Suspension and Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance.
