Incident: On Friday, March 18, 2016 at approximately 2:20 a.m., Brantford Police Community Patrol Officers were called in regards to a woman causing a disturbance in front of a business on Colborne Street. The woman was located and arrested for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place and transported to the Brantford Police Service for suitable lodging with the intention of release when sober. While being transported to the Brantford Police Service, the woman spit in the police cruiser several times and demanded to be taken home. While at the police station, the woman kicked a Police Sergeant twice in the leg before being lodged in the cell. As a result, an 18 year-old Brantford woman is charged with Assault a Peace Officer, Mischief, and Being Intoxicated in a Public Place. She was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
