(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On August 8, 2018 the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of sexual assault on a young female child while she was at a private residential home daycare, in Belwood. Officers were advised that the male suspect was associated to the residence that the care was being provided and was known to the victim.
Following a thorough investigation the Wellington County OPP Major Crime Unit has charged Lucas TRUDEL, aged 18 years of Centre Wellington Township with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
