(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On November 21, 2016 at approximately 5:57 p.m., a 2012 Ford Focus travelling at more than 50 km/hr over the posted 80 km/hr zone on Hwy. 6 near Southgate Rd. 24 in the Township of Southgate caught the attention of a Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) member on patrol.
18-year old Brandon Tiger WADE, of Guelph, was issued a Part III Summons for racing a motor vehicle – excessive speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on January 9, 2017.
