(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On October 12, 2016 at approximately 6:00 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of two males wearing Joker-type face masks in a red Dodge Dakota pick-up truck that was being driven erratically in the parking lot of the Keady Livestock Market located on Grey Rd. 3 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
The owner of the property attempted to speak with the driver, who then caused the truck to fishtail within a few feet of the victim before heading southbound on Grey Rd. 3 where it drove through the intersection at Grey Rd. 16 where it almost collided with another vehicle.
Police stopped the suspect vehicle on Grey Rd. 3 south of Grey Rd. 16 and arrested the two male suspects involved. After further investigation, the passenger, a 19-year old Owen Sound male, was released unconditionally.
The driver of the truck, 18-year old, Mason MANGER, of Owen Sound, was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle; mischief under $5000; and disguise with intent.
He is scheduled to appear in court on November 17, 2016 in Owen Sound.
There were no injuries reported.
