(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) – On November 11, 2012 at approximately 9:20 a.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Line 29, Township of Perth East.
Investigation revealed that a blue Ford F150 being operated by an 18 year old female from the Township of Perth East had been travelling west bound on Line 29. The driver lost control of the motor vehicle after completing the curve near Road 113. The truck entered the south ditch and struck a tree. The driver was not injured.
As a result of the collision, the female driver, Lydia DEWEERD, has been charged with Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
