(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Friday, June 5, 2015 at approximately 7:36 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped the driver of a motor vehicle, a white GMC Terrain, for speeding 140km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone eastbound on Hwy. 26 in the Municipality of Meaford.
Tristen Kevin ENGLISH, 18, of the Township of Chatsworth was issued a Part III Summons to appear in court on July 13, 2015. He was charged with racing a motor vehicle – excessive speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
The vehicle was impounded and his driver’s licence was suspended for 7 days.
