(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) -At approximately 6:00 p.m. on March 18, 2018, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an injured person’s occurrence on Middlebrook Road, Elora. Initial reports indicated that an 18-year-old Grand Valley man fell into the Grand River from the Elora Gorge.
OPP as well as Centre Wellington Fire Rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Service responded. The male has been transported by air ambulance with serious but non-life threatening injuries to a trauma centre.
