On Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:25 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police arrested a 17-year-old Toronto male in connection with a handgun that was found in a vehicle during a R.I.D.E program on Fairway Road South in Kitchener. The male has been charged with possession of a restricted handgun as well as various drug charges.
