On Friday 30th August 2013 Barrie Police received several calls complaining about a noisy party in the Coleman Drive/Ruffet Drive area.
On attendance police discovered a party hosted by a 17 year old male. After speaking with police the male agreed to shut the party down for the night; however before police had left the area they heard that party start once again.
This time the male was charged under the city by-law and presented with a $490 fine. All guests were asked by that youth for a contribution/donation as they left the house. It is unknown whether he was successful.
