(KINLOSS TWP, ON) – On May 22nd, 2012 at 4:03 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a head on crash on Highway 9 in Kinloss Township. Officers attended with the Lucknow Fire Department, Huron County paramedics and Bruce County paramedics. The involved vehicles, a Burgundy Ford pickup and a Grey Buick Regal were found at rest in the ditch, south of Highway 9.
The driver of the Grey Buick, 53 year old Michelle Taylor of Kincardine Township, was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
The passenger from the Buick and the driver of the truck were both taken to Kincardine hospital for assessment of non life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision investigators were called to the scene to assist the South Bruce OPP with this incident.
The South Bruce OPP has completed the investigation into this crash. The 17 year old pick up truck driver has been charged with Careless driving.
