Incident: On May 27, 2015 at 5:10 p.m. a 9-1-1 telephone call was received about a yellow mustang which had struck a home on Brant Avenue and fled the scene. At approximately 5:13 p.m. a Community Patrol Officer travelling to the scene observed the suspect vehicle driving in the area of Church Street. As a result of the investigation the driver a 17 year old male from Brantford was charged with Careless Driving and Failing to Remain at the scene of an accident under the highway traffic act.in relation to the collision. The home had minor concrete damage to the house however no structural compromise. The vehicle was heavily damaged. No injuries were reported.
