On March 13, 2015 at 1:50 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a downtown establishment to assist staff with a male. The man was allegedly trying to use a driver’s licence that did not belong to him to prove his age for entry. Police investigation determined that the man was not who he was identifying as and he was arrested.
A 17-year-old Oakville male has been charged with obstruct police under the Criminal Code and possess more than one licence under the Highway Traffic Act. He was also charged under the Liquor Licence Act with presenting as evidence of age documentation not lawfully issued to person, person under 19 years consume alcohol and being intoxicated in a public place. He will appear in court on April 29, 2015.
