Disturbance – Male Arrested
On Monday October 15, 2012 at 11:34 p.m., Guelph Police Service received a call from a Guelph Transit supervisor about a male who was on the bus and had possibly been stabbed in the leg. Officers met the bus at the transit hub and spoke with the victim. Investigation revealed that earlier on this date the victim had attended a party at a residence on College Ave West, Guelph. The victim became involved in an argument with a male who was a resident at the home. A struggle ensued and the two males spilled outside and began to fight. As the fight escalated the suspect’s brother exited the residence, and the victim was kicked in the head several times and stabbed in the leg with a steak knife. The fight ended and the victim and his girlfriend left the area to catch the bus and go to the hospital. The accused was arrested a short time later without incident. The investigation continues.
The 16-year-old Guelph male victim received a black eye, a bump over his left eye and a stab wound to his right leg that required 10 stitches to close.
Brandon McBAIN 21 years of Guelph was charged with two counts of Breach Probation and held for a Bail Hearing.
