Uniformed patrol officers at York Regional Police #4 District are seeking witnesses following a pedestrian fail-to-remain collision in the City of Vaughan, where a 16-year-old girl was seriously injured.
On Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at 6:50 a.m., York Regional Police received a 9-1-1 call advising that a pedestrian had been struck in the area of Pine Valley Drive and Highway 7. When officers arrived they located the 16-year-old pedestrian who was suffering from serious injuries as a result of being struck by a car. The vehicle fled the scene, northbound on Pine Valley Drive. The girl was transported to hospital for treatment.
Officers are looking to speak with anyone that may have been driving in the area at the time who may have witnessed the collision. They are also urging the person who was driving the vehicle to seek legal counsel and turn yourself into police.

White
Four-door sedan
Possibly missing the driver’s side mirror
