On Saturday February 25, 2017 at approximately 8:00 PM a 16 year old male was contacted by a 16 year old female to meet her at a secluded park. The female made the appointment in consultation with two other males, aged 20 and 25 years. These males had devised a plan with the female to rob the victim. The older males attended at the designated meeting place shortly after the victim met the female. The older males wore balaclavas. The victim was kicked numerous times after he lay on the ground after falling when he attempted to run away. The victim was forced to hand over his cell phone and running shoes. The victim did not require medical attention.
On March 1, 2017 Brantford Police Service arrested the trio. Both men, from Brantford, were charged with Robbery and Disguise with Intent. The 16 year old female was charged with Robbery. All were held for Bail Hearings.

Location: Colborne St.
On Wednesday March 1, 2017 at approximately 9:40 PM Brantford Police Service assisted Brant County Ambulance after three adults overdosed on fentanyl. Two men, aged 46 and 50 years, and a 39 year old female were taken to hospital to be treated medically.
The Brantford Police Service wants the public to be aware of the extreme dangers the illegal and illicit use of medications.
SIGNS OF AN OVERDOSE
• Extremely small pupils
• Discolouration of mouth and nails
• Severe sleepiness
• Slow heartbeat
• Trouble breathing
• Slow, shallow breathing or snoring
• Cold, clammy skin
• Trouble walking or talking
