(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On April 15, 2018, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Marion Street, Village of Dorchester.
The officer determined that the driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.
As a result of the police investigation, a 16-year-old, male, of Thames Centre, Ontario has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood. The accused was also charged pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) in relation to restriction to G1 licence holders.
The accused is scheduled to appear in a London court room at a later date to answer to the charge.
