(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 16 year old with Possession of a Controlled Drug & Substance following an incident with police on April 10, 2014. At approximately 10:30 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer was speaking with the passenger of a Ford pickup on North Street in Goderich. While speaking with the young male the officer detected the odour of marihuana coming from the youth.
Further investigation revealed the passenger was in possession of a small quantity of marihuana.
The 16 year old youth from Goderich has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He will have to attend Ontario Youth Justice Court – Goderich on June 12, 2014 to answer to the charge.
