16 Year Old Ejected During Collision Update – Deceased Identified

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On April 16, 2017, at approximately 4:23 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex Centre Fire Services, and Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Coldstream Road.

A white Subaru car travelling northwest on Coldstream Road left the roadway and entered the northeast ditch, where it struck a tree and caught on fire.

The 16-year-old male driver (and lone occupant) was ejected from the vehicle in the crash. He was transported by ambulance with life threatening injuries to hospital, and subsequently succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as Cameron FERGUSON, from Middlesex Centre, Ontario.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) attended the scene to assist with the investigation. As a result, Coldstream Road was closed between Gold Creek Drive and Lamont Drive until approximately 11:55 p.m.
