16 Year Old Cuts In Front Of Police Car – Charged With Trafficking

(BROCKTON, ON) – On March 31st, 2012 at 10:53 pm, a South Bruce OPP officer was on patrol along Highway 9, Brant Township, when a Green Chrysler Concorde pulled out into the path of the fully marked police vehicle. The officer was forced to brake sharply to avoid a collision with the other vehicle. The vehicle was stopped on Yonge Street, Walkerton where the officer found open alcohol container and a quantity of illegal drugs inside. The 16 year old driver and the adult passengers were charged with 2 counts of Possess a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. The owner of the car received an additional charge for Fail to comply with recognizance. None of the accused can be identified due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
