(PAISLEY, ON) – On August 5th, 2011 at 6:00 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a report of a daylight break and enter from a residence along Goldie Street in Paisley. Between 12:00 pm on August 5th, 2011 and 6:00 pm on August 5th, 2011, the house was entered and a large amount of cash was taken. The family dog was injured during the break and enter. Detective Constables from the South Bruce OPP Crime unit are assisting with this case.
A 16 year old youth has been arrested and charged with Break and enter, Possession of property obtained by crime, Cruelty to an animal and Fail to comply with undertaking. The youth is in custody awaiting the results of a bail hearing. The accused can’t be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The investigation is continuing, anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
