Theft From Vehicles – Two Youths Arrested
On Monday November 5, 2012, Guelph Police received a report of two youths searching through unlocked vehicles on Simmonds Drive Guelph.
On Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 12:23 a.m., officers attended the area and arrested two males responsible for the thefts. A search incident to arrest recovered property stolen from the involved vehicles. Investigating officers returned most seized property to its respective owner(s), however some property still remains in police custody.
The Guelph Police request homeowners on Simmonds Drive Guelph check their vehicles for missing property. Please contact Cst. Kevin KETTERINGHAM at 519-824-1212 ext #7272 to report any missing property.
A 16-year-old Guelph Youth was charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.00 and will appear in court in December.
A 14-year-old Guelph Youth was charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.00 and Breach Probation. He will appear in court in December.
