(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Monday August 25, 2015, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were responding to a suspicious person call in the area of Perth Line 86 just west of Listowel, involving a youth on a bicycle near a church.
Officers arrived in the area and located a male youth walking along Perth Line 86. The youth was in possession of stolen property, and was also found to be in contravention of conditions as a result of a previous arrest.
The 15 year old Municipality of North Perth male has been charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
– Theft under $5,000 – shoplifting
– Fail to comply with conditions of undertaking given by officer in charge
– Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
The youth was held in custody and will be attending a bail hearing at Stratford Youth Bail Court on Tuesday August 25, 2015.
