15 Year Old Caught Doing 121 in an 80

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) A 15 year old boy will be attending court following a traffic stop that took place on September 13, 2013. At approximately 7:15 a.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a Suzuki Motorcycle speeding westbound on Huron Road. A RADAR check showed the vehicle was travelling at 121 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.

The motorcycle was stopped and upon speaking with the young driver officers determined several violations were taking place. The driver was unlicensed; in addition, he didn’t have a valid permit, licence plates or insurance coverage for the vehicle.

As a result, a 15 year old boy from Huron East will have to attend Provincial Offences Court in Goderich on October 22, 2013 to face the following charges: Speeding, Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence, Drive Motor Vehicle – No Insurance, Drive Motor Vehicle – No Permit and Drive Motor Vehicle – No Plates.

The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
