On Thursday, June 11th 2015, at approximately 11:30 p.m., members of the Guelph Police Traffic Unit attended to Vaughn Street in relation to a multi-vehicle collision. It is alleged that a silver 2009 four door Mazda travelling on Vaughn Street lost control while navigating a curve. The vehicle left the roadway striking a parked 2006 Toyota Van, a 2002 Pontiac automobile and causing significant damage to residential property. The vehicle then fled the scene.
Early damage estimates to vehicles and property resulting from this collision is $20,000.
The vehicle and driver of the vehicle were located a short time later
A 15 year old Guelph male has been charged with fail to remain and take motor vehicle without consent.
