15 Year Old Arrested For Series Of Armed Robberies

Peel – Investigators with Central Robbery Bureau and 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have made an arrest in Project ‘Thorne’, an investigation into four separate knife point robbery incidents involving food delivery persons and a taxi driver between March and April, 2016.

On Friday, June 24th, 2016, Peel Regional Police arrested a 15 year old young person from Mississauga and charged him with four counts of Robbery and four counts of Disguise with Intent. He cannot be named due to the parameters of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton, on Friday, June 24th, 2016.
