The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a youth following a family dispute.
Just before 5:00 p.m. yesterday, police responded to a disturbance in the Merlin area. The female youth became very irate and refused to follow the house rules. In her rage, she ripped a phone off the wall and smashed it on the ground causing approximately $100 damage.
The 14-year-old female youth was taken into custody. She has been charged with mischief under $5000. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
