On November 24, 2016 at 4:37 p.m., the Guelph Police received the report of a pedestrian struck at Meyer Drive and Eramosa Road. It is alleged that a grey GMC van travelling westbound on Eramosa by Meyer collided with the pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 14-year-old girl from Rockwood was transported to Guelph General Hospital, where it was determined that she sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Guelph Police had Eramosa Road from Stevenson Street to Victoria Road closed for several hours as they reconstructed the scene.
