(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA, ON) – On Saturday September 2, 2017 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving two vehicles driving off highway on Wellington Road 39, near Guelph. Initial reports indicated a Nissan pickup truck collided with a Subaru sedan.
OPP as well as Guelph Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Services attended and transported 9 people with injuries to local hospital.
A 13-year-old male has been transported by air ambulance to a trauma centre.
Police continue to investigate the collision and charges may be pending.
